Summary
◆ Spray drying is the easiest way to process the liquid phase directly to the solid phase
◆ suitable for drying into powder granular products from solution, emulsion, suspension or paste liquid raw materials Generally, different tower diameters, heights, temperatures, heat sources, dust removal and supporting accessories are used according to the material status and requirements. Because of its high energy consumption, it is usually suitable for products with high added value or difficult to dry with other processes
Principle
◆ After filtering and heating, the air enters the hot air distributor on the top of the dryer, and the hot air enters the drying chamber evenly in a spiral shape. The material liquid is pumped to the high-speed centrifugal atomizer on the top of the tower body, and atomized into very fine mist droplets, which are in co-current contact with hot air, and the water evaporates rapidly. The finished product continuously flows from the bottom of the drying tower. The dust collector is collected, and the exhaust gas is discharged by the fan for separate treatment
